Sharing what we learned is part of how the Little Champions project gives back. Below are the ways we have brought this work to researchers, educators, and communities.
On March 19th, 2026 at Brock University, the Faculty of Education hosted their annual Celebration of Excellence in Research and Creative Activity event.
Daniella Michaud, M.Ed, OCT & Dr. Jaime Barratt, RECE, presented a poster that described the first phase of the project, where participants mapped the the Little Champions interACTIVE storytelling resources to the Ontario How Does Learning Happen? framework.
Overall, the first phase showed that most resources transferred well to Ontario preschool classrooms. More results can be found in the poster on the right.
From May 30th to June 2nd, 2026 the CSSE held its annual conference at the University of Winnipeg.
Dr. Barratt et al. presented findings on how Ontario early childhood educators use interACTIVE storytelling to promote preschool children's physical literacy, drawing on educators' own photographs and reflections through photovoice.
